Study in green and salmon(?) on blue
While my roses are starting to bloom at home, this desert flower still allures. I like the colour contrast. Cropping with Picasa plus "I'm feeling lucky." From the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. 180mm, f4.8, 1/1250 sec., ISO 400, 3:50 pm. RAW.

Lovely shot. I love that you identified that colour as salmon. It reminds me of a very dark point in Vancouver Canucks history, during the mid-90s, when they designed a third jersey in that colour. Eeww. Looks good on the flower, not so much on the hockey players. The blue background is awesome in this photo.

I REALLY like this one. The flower is a very interesting shape and the colors are soft. I like the blurred blue background. It works perfectly.
