Cactus flowers
I don't know why the gold glows so much, but I think it looks great, especially the reflection onto the white petals. No post-processing at all. Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.

Wow, we really missed you, but this post was definitely well worth the wait! Absolutely gorgeous! I love the glow of the yellow and the way the petals look semi-transparent.
Beautiful!!! very nice placement into the frame and the sweet colours, also i like the contrast of spikes and the sutile flowers!!
The yellow/gold actually looks like a spotlight. Sweet colors all around which contrast. Thanks for all your comments on my blog. They are very indulgent! Cheers

That's really cool. I wonder if the yellow "glow" is really just some pollen that has stuck to the flower pedals.
