A different perspective
This is another view of the plants in the previous post, shot standing. Their height is from one foot to two meters, I would hazard. Not a very interesting shot, but I thought I would include this to respond to some of the comments I received.

I can now understand how you were so successful when photographing these from the ground. They are a lot taller than I thought.
Very interesting plants. I'm glad you shared this shot even though it may not be as interesting as the first one, it gives a nice frame of reference.
