I noticed these growing along the banks of the river and pond by my house the other day when I was on my run. I was planning on going back with my camera, but I never got around to it.

Very nice. The dragonfly and the iris balance each other out. They almost appear to be looking at each other.

This photo of the dragon fly and iris is excellent. In fact, it's one of my favourite photos that you have taken. I love the balanced composition. The DoF is very good and the cropping is interesting. Well done mate.
Great cropping on this shot...colours and clarity are really nice!
Nice shot. At this time of year I imagine there are a lot of insects about. Dragonflies are difficult too because they move so much.
