Forget-me-nots (thanks, Nicola)
So far, all that I have seen blooming around Michigan are crocuses and daffodils. I took this picture last May -- it is hard to wait for Michigan spring, especially when I have lived in more temperate climes.

Love the soft focus on this one.
The soft focus was a "quick and dirty" using Picasa.
The soft focus really works for this photo. I like it.

Thanks, Nicola. If it is not a rose, I am pretty gormless. (Well, daffodils, tulips, wellwitchia, crocuses, bleeding hearts, many cacti, hyacinth, azalea, rhododendron, rose of sharon, and trillium I can usually identify, but I am reall "iffy" on the rest.)
