Sunset over Lake Michigan

The last glimmers of sunset on the last evening of our camping trip. ISO 800; 1/60 sec.; f4.5, 62mm (93mm for 35mm equivalent).

Music I'm listening to: The Irish Tenors, Be Thou My Vision.

I am in my last two weeks of work before three weeks of vacation. You know how that is -- a month of work in the last two weeks and a month of work in the two weeks when you get back.

Wow, those colours really are stunning. They look great in the reflection. Where are you going on vacation?

I am headed to Mount Rushmore & the Badlands National Park in South Dakota and Thunder Bay & Dryden, Ontario.
I have just ordered a camera backpack to make climbing around with the camera easier, chosen using a combination of price, quality, size, and weight. I have selected the Kata R-102 Ruksack which will hold all I need for outdoor photography, I hope. I almost went with the Domke Spider 10 (I like Domke bags), but could not locate any reviews on it. I also looked at some Tenbas, but they were a bit pricier.
