Seal fence

Oregon coast, 1977. This fence has kept the seals from coming this far inland. Of course, it would have to be a really high tide or some really desperate seals that could climb the steep face at this point. Ectachrome, Minolta SRT101.

Thank you, Ali. I have been scanning slides (Dimage 5400 II film and slide scanner) and learning as I go. Just glad the film held up through all my moves and storage for years. I had this slide stored in Bell & Howell slide cubes -- they sold a slide projector in the 1970's that used a cube that held about 40 slides. I had to go to Kodak Carousel when I moved back to a country that used 220v.

Wolf,
I love the Oregon coast. My Grandad went out on the Oregon trail from Nebraska as a boy. I spent some summers at his sheep ranch (he kept a flock until he was 89) and many holidays at Grandpa & Grandma's house in Salem. Two years in college only cemented my love for the state.

Beautiful shots mate. Love the tones. I'm pretty impressed that film held up.
