Hey, thanks for visiting my blog. Out of curiousity, how did you come across my pics on flickr? I stopped using flickr because it seemed to limit the number of pictures I could put up in a month.

I googled "timmybomb" and flickr came up. "Timmybomb" is not that common. I also did a blogger search and found your blog. Both sites mentioned Burnaby. I was born in Vancouver, long ago, when it was young. I have been many places in the world since, but Vancouver holds a special place in my heart. Dad died in Abbotsford about 2 years ago. All this to say that living by the ocean helps increase interest in seafaring tales. Joseph Conrad has a short story about the first time he comes into an Asian port and what hits him first (it was night) was the smells. For a guy who had English as a second language, he did a great job.
